Today, March 30th, is the last day to ride Orlando’s Universal Themepark’s Back to the Future ride! I just heard about this today because it was on the front page of the UCF Future. This is rediculous. The Back to the Future ride just isn’t one of the oldest most loved rides in the park - its also one of the most popular. Everytime I go to Universal I always make it a point to go on the BttF ride and I can always expect a long wait - but it’s always worth it. Rumours are circluating that the version in Hollywood’s Universal Themepark will be getting the axe as well. Without this legendary ride there is pretty much no reason to go to Universal anymore - especially with the much better Islands of Adventure right next door. It’s a shame that none of us will ever be able to jump into that 1.21 gigawatt powered DeLorean and make the jump at 88 mph ever again.
Great Scott!
